After the demise of the Fluids simulation of last night, I decided to try to recreate a Particle fire with a bit of a scene wrapped around it. Unfortunatly I for got to apply any nodes to the process before building the scene, so any thing that I did attempt to apply was also applied to the entire structure of the render.
This was also a test of my own memory retention as I did not use any tutorials as reference while constructing it. I missed something some where, in the particle fire. The Halo material still seems to be too crisp, this is something that I encountered while making the scene "solar flares" the first time around. Unfortunately I can not recall what it was that I did in that one that I missed in this one. There is also the obvious lack of 'glow' emanating from crude barrel, I had thought to place a red lamp in with the particle system. My thought process lead me to the conclusion that the particles would not occlude the light in a manor resembling fire at all and resemble more an encased lighting source with some form of atomization emanating from it.
    Well on to the next.
