I decided that all the descriptions laid out beside the images in the gallery simply did not look very good, and I have already made it a regular occurrence to add an entry with a description about the image, what brought it about, and what I went through to achieve the end result. So why not remove the rather redundant descriptions from the Gallery and simply catch the Blog entries up to date.

"The River of Tears" - I really have no idea where the Title came from, but the image it's self was generated in Terragen. After finding Terragen and playing with it for just a bit, I have really come to enjoy working with the program. I find that it is a great way to start of my day, a cup of coffee and computer generated sun rise... When all you have around you is Urban landscapes some times you just have to find you own world to watch a great sunrise and or set.

"Solar Flares" - After having worked with a video tutorial that utilized a large amount of nodes that my computer simply can not handle at the moment. I wanted to give my particle fire one last go before I put it on the shelf for a latter date and what better way to go out than to be the center of the Solar system. The reason for the planet and moon being so distant is the lack of visually appealing textures to out on them. Hopefully when I pull this one back out I will also have better planetary textures to go along with them.

"Smoke Break" - This is the second image by the same title that I have created. They where made for my Wife to use wile she does her live stream broadcasts. While she is a digital artist and able to smoke while producing art, we thought that this might be a quick and simple way to let her viewers know that she is stepping away from the computer for just a bit without having to worry about new viewers popping in and seeing nothing happening. This is also the second application of the billboard background technique. This time in particular it was laid on a flat plane that sized large enough to encompass the camera view. I learned right then that it looks much better placed on the inside of a smoothed sphere that has be 'cut in half.'

That catches up all the images in the gallery and provides a bit more back ground on them I believe. I truly hope that you enjoy them.
