The last few days have been a little busy, so I really have not really worked on anything major. I have found a program to generate planetary textures and played with it just a bit. That can be discussed in the forums.
Yesterday I got my wife's old tablet out and started using it in blender; First I started with the grease pencil and while that is an interesting tool, I started using the sculpting tools with it. Today I decided to use the tablet for all my work in Blender today, this was my warm up piece.
Starting with a cube; subdivide(1), cut in half on the 'Y', mirror 'X', subdivide(2), subserf(1 - 2), smooth(1). Then useing the sculpt tools, I came up with a Cat Head. There was a lot of unused material behind it.

This took about 5 min. to build and texture. There was no reason behind creating this one, it just kind of showed up while I was listening to T.G.R. . With close to a 5,500 poly count for the rendered image, I can safely say that it is one of the smaller objects that I have created on a whim.
